Grow Food
After the Flint water crisis was upon the city, experts said that a diet of fresh vegetables and fruits could limit the effects of lead absorbtion. Sadly, most of Flint is a food desert, with little access to fresh grown produce.
Prepare Food
Cooking is a skill that was once taught from parent to child. With most children growing up without mother and father, this is a lost skill in most of our inner city.
Market Food
In the poorest city in America, opportunities have to be created. We hope to foster in our youth an entrepreneurial spirit they will be able to apply to their dreams.
